Tutorial for Beginners in Make up :D (For cosplay~)

This is product of boredom and being unable to sleep...

As we all know, all anime characters have perfect faces like it was photoshopped, no pimples what so ever. This is a tutorial on how to get that perfect face lol.

I'm just going to cover on how to get a 'photoshopped' face look ^o^
So it's going to be basic....

Lol and it doesn't hurt to learn basics :D
Guys especially ^o^ (when you cosplay and you got acne or pimples... it just is not it, so at least now you can cover up :D)

I got eczema so you gotta understand that my skin ain't perfect for a girl >.< so I've learn how to cover up like a pro... with cheap stuff too~ so it's not expensive :D but of course cheap stuff doesn't last as long as good quality stuff.

Things that you'll need:
1. Make up sponge
2. BB Cream
3. Foundation
4. Concealer
5. Loose Powder/ Mineral Powder

Step One
Clean your face and moisturize, you don't want flaky skin >o<
Make sure that your face is always clean and moisturized before putting on make up and your hands are clean! XD

Step Two
Use your fingertips and apply the BB Cream on your face, make sure that it's spread evenly and remember to spread it on your neck too... you don't want to be two toned do ya?
I use BB Cream as a primer, it helps the foundation go on smoother and last longer :D

Step Three
Now use your concealer, some people use stick, some people use liquid. It depends, but stick concealer is thicker and is much more longer lasting. So apply it on your eyebags, pimples, pigmentation, scars, whatever you wanna conceal.

Step Four
Again use your BB Cream to cover over your concealer, this time rather than using your fingertips, use a make up sponge. Pat the BB Cream over the concealed spots and around them. DO NOT RUB! As rubbing will remove the concealer >o<
You can use your fingertips for this too but I prefer a make up sponge as it goes on much smoother and cleaner.

Repeat Step Three and Four if needed (as some spots are hard to conceal)

Step Five
Powder your face with loose powder or mineral powder all over your face and neck.

Step Six
Apply the foundation, make sure not to rub on your concealed spot and pat lightly on and around it. Use a make up sponge as it is easier to pat evenly with it~

Step Seven
Apply powder to set the make up in ^o^ and you're done~
The reason for Step Five is so that the foundation has something to hold on to and makes it stay on longer so you won't have to worry about your make up like 24/7 while you're having fun XD

The reason why I keep implying that it last's longer or it's longer lasting is because it does. And because when you go for events, you pretty much go for the wholeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee day >o< so you would want it to last long and not fade.

Pretty easy if you ask me~

After my first post I still don't know what to write...well technically i'm supposed to be studying coz my pmr is next week but oh well^^ break-time!! Okay...how about my cosplay plans or stuff like that? Let's see...so far i only cosplayed once...at

HCG 2011 - e@curve as hibari (as I said earlier)

For cf i plan to cosplay three characters...OAO. sounds tiring but oh well^^
Day 1 - Len magnet (so I can pair with my friend who's doing rin OAO)
Day 2 (here comes the tiring day) - chrome young white dress version

P.S: the girl on the top right hand corner...
P.P.S: since everyone (my friends) keep disturbing me coz they wanna c me in a dress so i do her ^^ my first (and i also don't plan to do anymore) and maybe even last girl character^^ oh well...we shall see next year^^

but so far i dunno any1 who's doing this vers yet so i'm kinda scared...oh yeah and i'm doing hibari on day 2 also...

oh yeah and i almost forgot~~

i plan to do belphegor from katekyo hitman reborn next year...maybe for c2age^^ anyone got tips on how to improve my cosplay thx ya~~(I don't think that this is the right place to ask this but oh well)

I'm seriously bored... so I post here instead of ranting on my blog which I deleted because someone found it....

Hmmm what to talk about?
Okay.... Topic of the day: Why I Cosplay :D

I started cosplaying because.... actually there was not much of a reason for me to start but I was watching Animax and I saw the event AFA (2009) and I saw Kaname-sama :D haha it was the first time I ever thought of cosplaying because he looked really handsome (Yea I wanted to be handsome instead of pretty like Alodia lol) and I was insane with Final Fantasy at the time (What am I talking about? I still am!! >.< NOTHING BEATS FINAL FANTASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... actually there's Pokemon.... and God Eater.... and Persona... and Dynasty Warriors.... and Sengoku Basara... etc!) and so I supposed that sparked my interest :D

But I didn't really really cosplay till this year :D

I consider this my official year that I started cosplaying >.<

My first character is Hong Kong from Hetalia~
Then my second is Kaito
Then my OC, Naito Ryuu

And you can see from the list.... they are all boys....

So I've never cos-ed a girl before~

But since I've started cosplaying, I've been taking care of myself, going to the gym, eating properly, not sleeping, sleeping earlier when needed. Haha and due to cosplay I've learned how to put on make up and be a healthy (not that healthy but healthy enough lol) person. YOU CAN'T SAY COSPLAY IS BAD after reading that!!!!

I cosplay for the fun of it :D
I get to meet new people and have fun

MY FIRST POST~~ENJOY!! (andrea here lol...i nvr added a nickname~~ any ideas?)

okay okay i dunno wad to write here so i'll just write about how i started cosplaying, k? My first cosplay wuz at HCG 2011 in e@curve. Lol...but i joined this group way before that already...met the admin there...man he wuz kawaii!!~~~(every1 says that lol). But i didn't get 2 talk 2 him kua coz he wuz rushing off for a photoshoot...rin cosplayer^^. I made tons of new friends there and it was awesome~~ my first cosplay made me hyper for a week OAO...hibari-chan!! LOL xDDD sorry kua i got no picture 2 add...

Hmmm.... Naito's First Post

Well... I'm bored so I decided to make my first post lol.
I should be studying now but I'm not... so.... yeah.

The first time I met our blur admin was at AMG :D
He was pretty cute for someone who was cosing Rin lol (because Rin has badass aura while Ryuuko-kun has cute aura which is the opposite of Rin... :D but he was cool anyway). Rather than caring about his cos (gomennnnnnn >.<)... I cared more about his prop lol because it was an actual blade that can cut.

I remembered that he couldn't stop laughing when he was posing XD

Then the next day on FB I was added and then added into Let's Cosplay group~

Though at first I was wondering what the group was about and about the people in there.... lol because the only people I knew were Rukia, Hui Ping and Ryuuko >.< and I was kinda shy to post.

But everyone was really friendly and it felt like we've known each other for a long time haha. And we had a spam fest and some people... were not so happy.... (I'm sorry to those that have been spammed QAQ please forgive us but we like to talk a lot)

All in all... I really like this group~<3

And I hope we all can get along!!

P.S. Our admin (Ryuuko-kun) is an awesome prop maker and actually too cute to be a boy.... >:D

Rukia start her first step in this blog ^^

Hello minna!!!  I thought this blog gonna be very busy but it sound kinda quiet. Let me start up some story about cosplay. All started when i went to this event held in PWTC. Me and my friend are lost cause we never thought that the event will be IN THE PC EXPO. Luckily we secretly followed one of the blue wig cosplayer from the back (yeah.. it sound like spying XD) Thank god he really brought to where they gather. First time i saw so many cosplayer there(cause first time attend this kind of event >.<) !! I look around guess what?! I saw my favorite Rin Okumura (the admin) and I got HIGH cause i never expect i saw Rin there since the anime still kinda new that time. I don care anything and go in front and ask '' Can i take picture with you?'' I saw his face was like.... ok he got shock and kinda shy too XD

First Post

Finally Let's Cosplay have its own blog! I've been having this idea in mind for months but I didn't bother to suggest it to the group till a few weeks later because I'm just that lazy. =D So this will be the official blog for Let's Cosplay! and there are no rules because it's better to let the members have fun! xD
 
As you can see, this blog is kinda incomplete because I'm lazy of school work and etc. Finals are coming up so screw life. D'= And oh I must put this here because it's necessary: u shit with any of the members u so screwed. We are like what many of the members like to classify as a family so yeas.
 
P.S. sorry for the foul words but I have a habit of swearing to excite things up LOL. xD
